Polyjoule

Poly-Joule is a mixture of glucose polymers (maltodextrin) which provides a readily absorbed source of energy with a low osmotic strength and bland taste.

Poly-Joule is a soluble white powder which is free from protein, fat, sucrose, lactose, fructose, galactose and gluten. Poly-Joule has a low electrolyte content.

Poly-Joule can be added to most liquid and semi-solid foods to increase their energy and carbohydrate content.

Poly-Joule is not nutritionally complete and should not be used as the only source of nutrition.

Poly-Joule can be added to hot and cold foods, hot and cold liquids and to naso-gastric feeds.

Solid foods:
Poly-Joule can be sprinkled on foods such as cereal and fruit of mixed in foods such as mashed potato, stews, scrambled eggs and custards.

Liquids:
Add Poly-Joule to liquids such as milk or fruit juices and stir until dissolved.

For infants and young children:
Use in accordance with instructions from your doctor or dietitian.
